Colorado Rail Proto Meet
September 27th & 28th, 2025
The 2024 Colorado Rail Prototype Modelers Meet Kick Off was a huge success! So much so that we need more space! We found a great venue just a few minutes away from the Colorado Model Railroad Museum. The event will be held at the Island Grove Event Center in Greeley, CO, on the last weekend of September in 2025. This will triple the space, allow for two (2) clinic rooms, and room for more vendors and display tables. We will even have additional room for layouts!
We have a caterer with box lunches for us on both days if you purchase this with your registration. The event center is about a 5-minute drive to downtown Greeley if you would like to go out to lunch instead.
We also have on-site RV camping with water (in only) and electric hookups this year.
We will start the 2025 event on Friday, September 26th, with layout tours in the area for attendees. We will also have the Island Grove Event facility all day on Friday for set up of vendors and layouts. The Colorado Model Railroad Museum will have an evening operating session for registrants. This will be filled out quickly so register early!
On Saturday, September 27th, you can bring your models for display starting at 8:00 am and the event will close at 5:00 pm. At 5:30 pm the Colorado Model Railroad Museum will host an open house for attendees. You can purchase a delicious BBQ dinner for $20 with your registration to have this meal ready for you when you arrive at the museum. Or you can go out to eat and stop by later.
Sunday, September 28th, we will enjoy the day socializing and discussing all the great models, modules and clinics and end the day at 4:00 pm.
Online registration will be ready in early 2025, but you can mail a check now if you want to register early!
