Our club is made up of people who enjoy N scale model railroading. We set up 3 to 6 times a year depending on demand and availability of members. We do occasionally travel out of state to set up at regional or national conventions, such as the huge one which took place in Louisville, KY a few years ago.
The club started out around 1975 with a 12´ x12´ layout with 8 members and has evolved into 25 members with the capability to set up a 30´ x 60´ layout. Since that time a lot has changed. With the event of Digital Command Control (DCC) we have exclusively gone with this control.
A great thing about being a member of this group is that we are always willing to help each other with our modules, home layouts, exchange ideas or anything else that may come up. We also have opportunities to participate in swap meets, layout tours and conventions.
New members are always welcome. If you are interested in joining the fun of NTRAK railroading, you might consider joining our Club. NTRAK gives you an opportunity to sample all phases of layout construction on a 2×4 module with a minimum investment in time, space and money. It is an excellent learning tool for newcomers and experienced modelers of all ages. And it’s a lot of fun just hanging out with others who enjoy the hobby.
Our meetings are scheduled via tele-conferencing, or on an as needed basis. (at least twice a year)
